Went to Kroger to pick up some milk, bread, and see what was happening.
Ended up getting in on the Mega Event - total before Q's was $97.19 - total after was $51.29. Savings was 48%. Not the best trip ever - but I didn't spend $45.00 I would have otherwise - so........... good enough for me!
Problem is I haven't been to the store in 3 weeks (well except out in California) so there was very little here except my regular stockpile items (cereal, pasta, chips, etc.) ((a 20 year old home alone for 2 weeks can clean out a freezer! LOL)), so it's hard to save a bunch and restock at the same time! I, however, am very happy with 48%!!
